This course concentrates on managing contracts and contractors to ensure commitments are fully delivered to required standards.
The course has a strong practical and interactive focus to ensure practical results.

• Types of contract
• Contract management procedures and tools
• Contract monitoring and evaluation – including penalties and rewards
• Commissioning new contracts
• Contract communication and information systems
• Contract control and redress
Duration:
The Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the course is 8 hours.
Entry:
The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM ) operates an ‘Open Entry’ policy but prospective participants should be able to apply what they learn on the course in an organisational setting (need not be in a job).
Certification:
Participants receive the City&Guilds/ILM Unit Certificate in how to ‘Understand how to manage contracts and contractors in the workplace’ on completion of a written assignment related to their workplace or some other location with which you are familiar.
